Information we collect
When you subscribe to or communicate with our text messaging program, we receive your mobile telephone number and any information you include in your messages. Twilio, our messaging service provider, also processes messaging records, including message content, timestamps, delivery information, and subscription or unsubscribe activity.
When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, phone number, submission time, and whether you selected the optional SMS consent checkbox. For consent records, we retain the disclosure shown and the policy version. Vercel hosts our website and privately stores form submissions. Hosting services may process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs to operate and protect the site.
How we use information
We use contact-form information to respond to your request and record your preferences. We send recurring SMS only when you have opted in. We use messaging information to send volunteer requests and information about events you have signed up for, respond to your messages, manage your subscription, honor unsubscribe requests, and operate the messaging program. Message frequency varies based on volunteer needs and your event participation. Message and data rates may apply.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your mobile information. We do not share your mobile number, text messaging opt-in data, or consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Access to messaging information is limited to the person administering the Achim BYachad program and service providers that operate the program, including Twilio for messaging and Vercel for website hosting and private form storage, except for telecommunications carriers and other providers whose processing is necessary to transmit and deliver messages, or disclosures required by law. Operational processing does not authorize another organization to use your information for its own marketing or rely on your consent for its messaging program.
Retention
We retain contact and messaging information only as long as reasonably needed to operate the program, respond to inquiries, document consent, honor opt-out requests, and meet applicable legal obligations. We retain sufficient suppression information to avoid messaging people who have unsubscribed. Retention within Twilio and telecommunications networks also depends on the relevant provider’s policies and applicable requirements.
Protection of information
Contact submissions are transmitted over HTTPS and stored in private storage. Form submissions are not published on this website. Access is limited to authorized administration and service operation. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
Reply STOP to a program message to unsubscribe. You may receive one final message confirming that you have unsubscribed. You will receive no further program messages unless you enroll again.
Reply HELP for assistance, email info@achimbyachad.org, or call (845) 579-2185. You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with your subscription. We will handle requests consistent with applicable law and the records needed to honor your opt-out or satisfy legal obligations.
