Achim BYachad SMS Terms and Conditions

Achim BYachad is the public brand operated by Chai Lifeline, the legal organization responsible for this program.

These terms apply to the Achim BYachad text messaging program.

Program description

Achim BYachad sends volunteer requests and information about events you have signed up for.

How to subscribe

To subscribe by text, send START to (845) 373-5556 after reviewing the program’s enrollment disclosure and these terms. You can also give consent to recurring program messages by selecting the optional SMS consent checkbox and submitting the contact form at https://achimbyachad.org/contact. Either action gives Achim BYachad permission to send recurring messages for the purposes described above. The form records your consent; it does not send a text message or immediately activate messaging. The checkbox is not preselected. Submitting the form without selecting it does not give consent to recurring SMS.

Participation is voluntary. Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services. Sending an ordinary inquiry to our number does not, by itself, enroll you in recurring messages.

Message frequency and charges

Message frequency varies based on volunteer needs and your event participation. Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless provider for information about your messaging plan and charges.

How to unsubscribe

Reply STOP to any program message to unsubscribe. You may receive one final text confirming your unsubscribe request. After that confirmation, you will receive no further program messages unless you enroll again.

To rejoin, text START to (845) 373-5556 after reviewing the current enrollment disclosure.

Your mobile number

You must own or be authorized to use the mobile number you enroll. If you change or give up that number, please unsubscribe before transferring or disconnecting it.

Message delivery

Delivery depends on your wireless provider and network availability. Messages may be delayed or may not arrive. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Our SMS Privacy Policy at https://achimbyachad.org/privacy-policy explains how we handle messaging information. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers, SMS opt-in data, or consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Program changes

We may update these terms or discontinue the program. Updates will not be used to expand your consent to unrelated message purposes or another sender’s program.
